Honeymoon Mistakes To Avoid:
Scheduling too many activities
With all the excitement you'll be going through
in the weeks leading up to your Big Day, you may not realize
just how exhausting it can all be, but
it will certainly hit you a day or so after the wedding. Be sure to
leave yourselves enough “relaxation” time, for at least
the first few days of your honeymoon. Spend a day getting pampered
at the spa, or lounging beachside or poolside - there will still be
plenty of time to go snorkeling/parasailing/sightseeing
or whatever interests you. After all, you’ll
have many more trips with your new spouse, but only one honeymoon,
so relax
and
enjoy
it!

Many people who face a long flight (eight or more hours) opt to
take an overnight flight commonly called a "red-eye" that arrives
in the morning hours at their destination. The theory is that, by
sleeping enroute, you can avoid the jet-lag and bleary-vision that
gave rise
to the flight's nickname. While it's a great idea, it can be difficult
for some travellers, so here are a few tips to make an overnight
flight easier to manage:
Lastly, stash a couple of moist-wipes in your carryon - there's nothing like a clean face to help you feel more refreshed when you arrive at your destination!

Advice
Dear Honey, We only have 4 days for our Honeymoon, and a small budget, but want to go somewhere nice - with a beach and maybe a spa. Where can we go that is affordable and won't take all day flying to get there? - Merrilee, Ft. Worth, TX Dear Merrilee,
Your question comes at a great time, because this month we are featuring the Aventura Spa Palace Resort, in Cancun Mexico, in our newsletter. It's just a short flight from Texas, so you can make the most of what time you have, and it's an All-Inclusive, so you'll be able to relax without worrying about busting your budget. Local sightseeing tours are included in their package, and Cancun is world-famous for it's nightlife, bargain shopping opportunities, and it's warm, caribbean ocean, so you'll have a fun and relaxing four days!
