Keeping tickets and ID handy.......
They've been around for awhile, but have suddenly become even more handy than ever - those "around-the-neck" ID holders that hold your boarding passes and ID. Most airports require you to show your boarding pass and ID at the security checkpoint and again at the gate when boarding, so it's nice to have them in a convenient location - no fumbling through your purse or pockets. I got tired of digging through my purse to find my wallet to get my ID, then put it all back, then get it all out again, so I put my ID in my coat pocket, then - wouldn't you know it? - I left my coat at my mom's house, with my ID still in the pocket! Aargh! Another benefit - less distraction means less chance of having something stolen while you're not watching......yup, sadly it happens every day. And if that's not enough reason, some of the nicer ones have room for a little cash too - once again saving you from the digging around when you want to buy a magazine at the airport or a cocktail on board the plane.....

Advice
Dear Honey,
Help! My fiance is getting very involved in planning our honeymoon and we're starting to argue about it - I thought that was MY job, so how do I tell him to butt out? - Melissa,Natick, MA Dear Melissa,
I hate to burst your bubble, but traditionally the job of planning the honeymoon is the groom's job (planning the wedding is still your domain), but in practice, many men prefer to let the bride plan everything. I think it's great that he wants to help out, and after all, it IS his honeymoon too. Why not let him handle this job? Just be sure he knows what's important to you, and asks your opinions before committing to anything. That way, you can just focus on planning your big day, and have a few less things to worry about. To help him stay on track, give him a copy of our Honeymoon Planning Checklist. Best regards, Honey Visit the

Good advice on honeymoons too, but they recommend using
TheBigDay's honeymoon registry, and you
should know that TheBigDay DOES charge service fees - we don't!
