If you're working with us to plan your honeymoon, then your Honeymoon Consultant can help you fill in this worksheet and prepare a realistic Honeymoon Budget. If you're not working with us, a few phone calls will help you track down the information you need - here are a few guidelines based on averages:
- Count on around $50 per person per day for meals, a bit less if you don't drink wine or alcoholic beverages, a bit more if you're staying at a very high-end resort;
- Mid-meal snacks and beverages will be around $15 - $20 per person per day;
- Costs for local activities and sightseeing vary greatly, but you can get estimates by contacting the local Department of Tourism or Chamber of Commerce for your destination;
- Spa Treatments generally average $75 - $100 per treatment, but call ahead and request a Spa "Menu" to get specific prices - and be sure to book ahead too - many Spa appointment openings fill up fast!;
- Some resorts provide local transportation in the form of a hotel shuttle, be sure to ask your hotel - but count on about $10 for an average taxi trip;
- Don't forget the tips! Even if you're going to an "All Inclusive", where tips (as well as most of the other things on this list) are included in your room rate, there will still be a few folks you'll want to tip (porters, taxi drivers, etc) - so if you are at an All Inclusive, it won't be much, otherwise add up your meals, snacks, beverages, and transportation and then use 15% of that total;

Advice:
- DO consider setting up a Honeymoon Registry - by letting your family & friends know that you'd really love a dream honeymoon instead of kitchen items, you'll be able to stretch your budget a bit farther - your Honeymoon Consultant can help you decide if this is right for you.
- Consider taking American Express Traveler's checks or their new TravelFunds™ card - both are much safer than cash, but you will need some small bills for tips and small purchases in the currency of the country you are visiting.
- Don't forget to add an extra 10% to your total for any unforseen expenses - it's best to avoid paying ATM fees if you need more cash while traveling.
